For over 22 years I have been married to my amazing wife Jodi. Over those 22 years we have certainly had our ups and downs, but through it all, our faith and trust in Jesus Christ has allowed us to have a marriage we would wish for anyone.

Jodi and I have been counseling couples for better than 10 years and during that time it became obvious that God was calling us into this area of ministry. We never really sought out the couples, God always just seemed to place them in our lives.

In October of 2003 I was hired as the Executive Pastor at the church our family was attending and one of my job responsibilities was to do pre-marital counseling and wedding ceremony's.

It quickly became a passion for me to work with these couples before they were married. You see, the only counseling experience I had prior to that was with marriages that for the most part were in crisis.

To work with couples that were beginning brand new lives together was exciting and exilerating to me. To pour my life experiences and what the Word of God had taught me after many years of marriage really wound my clock.

So after five years of pre-marital counseling many couples, I had the privilege of doing the pre-marital counseling for my wifes cousin long distance. Over the next several months I worked with David and Brittany over the phone and online and found that this experience worked quite well for them.

That's how "Agape Pre-Marital Counseling" was born! I saw an opportunity to work with couples from all over the country and to teach them the benefit of my 22 years of real life experience and the truth of God's Word.
