A survey by Marriage Partnership magazine of 3,000 couples from 25 denominations who had received premarital counseling, revealed the importance of extensive premarital counseling. One questions asked "Did your premarital counseling help you in marriage?" The following is a breakdown of those who answered "definitely yes":
